Vacuum Your Pets!!!

No Kidding!

Suck The Loose Hair Right Off Of 'Em!!

WOW - I just found the coolest little thing. It's a vacuum powered pet brush! I know, I know, I thought it was really a weird idea too, but I had one sent as a sample, so I figured, "What the heck, I don't like my dog that much anyway" (Just kidding :-).

Seriously, my dog really isn't scared of the vacuum cleaner at all (I sometimes have to nudge him with it to him to move out of the way), so I decided to give this a try and see how it worked.

So I hook it up to my vacuum (there's lots of adapters, so it's pretty universal), start up the vac, and call my dog over. I could tell by the way he was sulking towards me he knew that something was up, but he came anyway. I gently started using the brush - and WOW!!! What a fantastic job! The bristles pull out all the loose hair and then it gets sucked up by the vacuum! Soooo much easier than our standard messy, outdoor brushing!

Plus, he was wagging his tail most of the time - he seemed to enjoy it as much as his "regular" brushings, so I think we just found a much better way to keep the hair down to a minimum around here!

Oh, plus this does NOT put the suction right on your pet. The bristles are long and stiff (and no, they don't spin or anything - it's perfectly safe), so you're not sucking off the dog's skin or anything. It's actually very gentle, and like I said, my dog seemed to enjoy it. Naturally, if your pet is terrified of the vacuum cleaner, this is probably not the way to go. However, if they don't mind it, you owe it to yourself to give this a shot! It really works great!

If you're sick of messy pet grooming, give this a try! When I did it, I was on white tile - and there wasn't a hair to found on it. Had I tried that with a regular brush, my wife would have had my head. I'm like you - at first I really wondered if this was going to work, but now I'm nothin' but impressed! Just wait till you try it - you'll love it too!

My maltese and OES don't shed, so I don't see the need for one. I have seen the commercial for the pet vacuums though.
Of your OES is losing enough hair that you need a vacuum, I'd get to the vet right away!
My sheltie and my samoyed both loved to be
vacuumed. They both were heavy shedders
though, and I felt like I was never getting all
the hair picked up. I just used my regular old
attachment vacuum and they loved it. My guys
now would never tolerate it. They stay clear of
the vacuum all together. In fact they stay clear
of me anytime I'm doing any kind of cleaning.

Shellie
Stella abolutely HATES the vacuum... but there wouldn't be a need for it anyway since all I have are sheepdogs and a Bichon, neiter of which really "shed".
I did try to convince my persian to let me vacuum her. Didn't work. Got "that" look for a while afterwards. I do occasionally turn on the low setting for my Rainbow, which is supposed to clean the air, and set beside it while grooming. It sucks in any floaters that happen to sneak away. Its not loud on this setting, sort of like an air purifier. George wants to eat the vacuum....and the blow dryer for that matter.

Hmmm..... I can picture Billy Mays or Anthony Sullivan pitching this product. Are you sure you're not selling this thing yourself?

If you think vaccuming your OES will take the place of thorough line brushing, you'd better set up an appointment with a groomer for a shave down.
