shampoo and other supplies?

Sorry if this is in here already- mostly it seems like people are asking if their shampoos are okay, and I need to know what shampoo to get! So what do you use? Please don't suggest anything made by Hartz- a Hartz product almost killed my kitties once and I don't buy from them. Also, do you use conditioner? We have a undercoat brush- any other brushes necessary? Lady came to us with short hair (it was matted when she got to the humane society so they cut it off) and it's still fairly short, but starting to really grow. Any tips on supplies are appreciated, thanks! :-)

shampoo and condtioner I just got off eBay is great leaves the hair nice a soft. It is concertated so you water it down, I also put it in a spray bottle. Once it was watered down it is very watery but it works great. The spray bottle helps so you are not using to much shampoo in once spot. A 12oz bottle of shampoo was $10 makes 3 gallons of shampoo and condtioner $12 and makes 6 gallons. It is good for cats also. The condtioner can also be used as an leave in. As for brushs and stuff I have a pin brush with out the balls on the ends works great and Sami seems to like that one. A good comb I just got a matt breaker and it works great wish I got it earlier, works great on the legs and feet. I have also got a stripper comb that everyone recomonds but I have not used it yet. I shaved Sami down this summer and have not needed it yet.
They are called:
Oats Fur Coats For dry itchy sentiive and skin allergies Shampoo
Ulter Silk Conditioner
Getting a Leave in called: The Stuff (I have be told great, but can leave to soft)
I do not show my dogs so I am not sure if this makes their fur to soft for showing.

For me to by shampoo in stores I do not like it and use way to much
At the vets for 12 oz bottle $16.00 ready to use 8O so this stuff to me is while worth it.
Watch out for The Stuff. It works great on the dog, but wherever they sleep becomes a slick ice skating rink. Oscar likes to crash right in front of the basement stairs (hardwood floor), and I've almost slipped down them after he's been to the groomer. 8O

Are you using a lot? I've never noticed that problem. I find it to be actually pretty greaseless and lightweight. Cowboy Magic, on the other hand, definitely leaves an oil slick on anything it touches. I feel like I have to wash my hands about 15 times before it's off.
Do you all use leave in conditioner AND conditioner that rinsees out, or just one or the other? Do you use the leave in after the bath, or just if the coat gets tangly?
Sorry- I'm hopeless! :-)
I think since your girl is an OES mix, she probably has a different coat texture than a regular OES. You may not need a lot of conditioner at all. I only use a little spray conditioner when I line groom. Since I don't show, I like how soft it makes the coat and it also keeps the tangles from forming too easily.
I also agree that "The stuff" is a great product. Do pick that up.

Personally, my very most favorite shampoo is Fresh n' Cleans Oatmeal and baking soda formula. It's gental, a good deep cleaner as well as fantasic smell! I tell my grooming clients that the smell last, when the dogs go outside in the morning and get dew on there feet the smell of the shampoo comes out rather than that wet dog smell.

There is also a conditioner. Which again if awsome! Sometimes I water down the conditioner and use it as a spray on. It's a nice refresher also.

It's really easy to find. Petsmart sells it and I know of a couple specialty shops that carry it. Petsmart's price is usually around $7.99 or $8.99 a bottle.
