How good has your sheepie been?

I will start:
Our Sami had to get shaved due to water and matts, stepped on eggs that I just bought(had to be the eggs), ran though mud right after a wash, stop drop and roll(could have been poo) ran herself into a car,(doing fine) learnt to counter surf and got to doggie cookies,(blamed my husband last week on sandwich that went missing) and almost gassed her family out of the house, and looked pleased with herself. So she is 10 months does that make her 5? I remeber my kids at 5 almost the same.

8O Well, Willoughby has outdone himself and appears to be somewhat contrite, if for no other reason than his mother (me)can't get around as well as usual. Last Tuesday, we were out in the AM for our usual walk in the cemetery when one of the gardeners/gravediggers whom we know waved at us. This was apparently like a squirrel waving at Willoughby as he took off. I was off-balance having just picked up poo and so my usual methods of restraint didn't kick in. He didn't hear me shout "No" so I went flying! I flew off my feet. Crash onto my left side, breaking a rib, possibly in 2 places. Our friend took charge of Willoughby and helped me up. I hobbled bakck to the car as I was bruised from head to toe. I then drove home and applied ice. Later I hobbled to the car to get my painnpills from the pharmacy. The week has been a blur of ice packs and pain. :( I've still managed to walk him twice a day after taking an anti-inflammatory. I can't cough or sneeze and am now just able to breathe without pain. I also had to postpone a visit to my brother and his family in Quebec. When it rains it pours.
Dutch has been sooo good, thats if we ignore the counter or any flat surface surfing, demolishing most of the shrubs, chewing up 3 wacom pens (for computer), don't try reading the paper , she will jump and tryand grab it off the table while your trying to read it , and on and on .
She's a just wana play girl :twitch:
I am so bad.....I know you guys have been going thru you know what, but a couple of times while reading the posts so far, I laughed so hard I snorted....I'm sorry, but its true. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
hmmmm at lest you did not lad in the poo
But... but.. but she had it in her hand. Did she remember that before the gardener offered to help her to her feet?

Poor Willoughby's mom!!! Have you seen a doc to ensure that nothing "more serious" is going on?
Man, do I feel lucky. If all my dogs ganged up on me like that, I would be in serious trouble! 8O

Chewie had a half day of diarrhea after eating a rawhide while LeAnne was babysitting him and the others. Normally they never have them, but she was desperate with 4 extra dogs in her house!

That's it, nothing happening. :D
derby loves the lake in the back ok it is hot here so i let him in well i just did some landscaping did we say red mulch,, hum a big pile so wet dog and pile of red mulch mixed together=messy red dog with wood stuck in his hair.. ok so now 5 days later i have hosed him down at least 50 times
ig he were not so darn cute i would have :x him
Hi, I'm sorry I laughed too  . Shamu rolled in a dead mole and then jumped up on my husband and kissed him all over. He came running by me screaming "Shamu stinks I'm going to through up she rolled in something dead" we found the mole later behind the barn. It was kinda funny watching him scream & yell poor shamu didn't know what to do
:D It's OK to laugh! I did as soon as I could! 8O Actually, I fell on the bag of poo and the gardener said it was OK to toss it wherever! Needless to say, I'm walking his nibs with a harness that crosses his shoulders and if I think there are squirrels, bunnies or gardeners in his field of view, I also attach another leash to his collar. It loks a bit odd but it works. If we see any of the above, I ask him to sit : so far so good! He has been more subdued. The cats have pointed out with glee that he now has several serious demerits on his record. I hope to be able to drive next week and have an appointment with my family doctor in the Okanagan. I did go to a walk in clinic where the doc didn't order an Xtray. I can feel something moving in my rib cage and having done this twice before (falling off my horse: another story)I know I have a fracture. I don't think anything else is damaged. Unfortunately, I can't do my back exercises and will have to spend some intensive time at therapy when the rib is healed. This is one of a series of star-crossed events which I will chronicle for your entertainment at some future date. I have a horrible feeling "It ain't over yet!"
I feel off a quad did not break ribs but moved them. But boy it hurt so I can only wondering what you are going through :excited: It does hurt to breath, you do not want to sneeze, laugh or laugh, ow ow ow. And boy on and off couch, doing stairs getting out off bed  Two weeks off this I think my family was going to get rid of me.
We just got home from an out-of-town art fair, where we camped out in our trailer for 2 weeks behind our booth. This was Eggbert's 1st big fair, and although he's still pretty much a puppy, he did quite well, overall.

Um....except....for one tiny incident.

At this fair, dogs are ONLY allowed in the vendors camping areas, and the theory is that customers should never see them. One morning (thank god, it was before the fair opened to the public!) The General Manager of the show came by to see us (she's also Scott's sister  ) for coffee, and while she was coming in the door Bert decided he needed some exercise and made a break for it! 8O

He proceeded to do the "sheepie 500" all around the row of booths that our booth was on. Were talking about a city block's distance, full of people restocking, supply trucks 8O , and people waiting in line at the coffee booth and the couple of food booths that open for breakfast...!!!

I was terrified that he'd run under the tires of a truck, but fortunately the drivers of these supply trucks are VERY cautious and alert, since they have to weave in and out of groups of venders and their children all the time.

Randi (the GM) was laughing so hard she could hardly stand, and all of the other folks standing around found it very amusing too  I did NOT!!! We caught him finally...or rather, he ran out of gas and stopped  and thankfully NEVER tried doing it again. The nearby dogpark that we found to take the dogs to for a morning run each day helped too!
Misery loves company! :D I have to say that Oscar has been a pretty good knucklehead lately. But when you are as spoiled as he is, it's hard to have an attitude!

Willoughby's Mom, hope you are feeling better.

Laurie
:D Well, I begin to flag about this time every day and have to have a nap! This requires an icepack and an ibuprofen. Willoughby and the cats join me: W on the floor and a cat at each end of the sofa. EJ has described the situation very well! fortuantely, the furkids are very toelrant! Am improving slowly, thanks for the good wishes. I'd be lost without this forum. :phew:
How should I begin?

Henry, our resident 138 pound Doofus, recently decided that if our newest (Molly) can be a lapdog, so can he. One major problem is about 90 pounds more weight than Molly. But wait...there's more: Henry only wanted to be in my lap when Molly was already there. :excited:
The second problem...
Three bodies totalling over 350 pounds in a chair designed for less than 200 pounds. :twitch:
Needless to say we are going out shopping for a new chair this afternoon. Maybe a little more sturdy this time. :lmt:
^^^

Oh my - I hope you are ok. Where is the camera when you need it?!
 What a riot! Poor Willoughby's Mom! Poor simm2zoo - one lap wasn't built to hold that much weight!
Nigel decided today it was time to start destroying things. I just bought new throw rugs that match for the laminate. Six that match in all, and he started to work on pulling the berber through the back side. I caught him while the damage is still minor, but do you think he knows I had to go to 2 stores to get all the rugs. They are being discontinued, the story of my life. He will be 13 weeks on Wednesday. What am I in for??? We will be starting puppy school on the 6th. On the up side he already knows sit and down...smart...but still a knucklehead!!!
