any advice on picking a pup

we just found a breeder that we think has a great reputation. however, they lost 1 pup during birth and 2 more since they were born. is this a bad sign for the litter? the other dogs look great but we havent met them yet. ive asked for the vet number and im looking for any advice that can help us decide if this breeder is good or not.

please email me. melbatoast76@msn.com

There's not a clear cut answer whether losing puppies at birth is a good or bad sign of a breeder. Many breeders lose puppies every now and then, just a way of life. If they die of something negligent, that is another story.

All of the answers in choosing the right breeder is here on the forum, you need to spend some time reading the posts. Need to make sure all of the necessary health testing has been done as well as the people should be breeding for the "standard".
