Stuffed portabellas

Did anyone catch yesterday's 30 minute meals? Normally I don't watch it too often, because she is so dippy, but the mushrooms..........yum. She grilled huge portabellas and filled them with a more figure friendly version spinach and artichoke dip. Told hubby about the recipe, now he is even more eager to get home  I dreamt about these mushrooms last night! How sad is that? I will put in the link to the recipe, hopefully it will work. I hope that's ok to do, if not, everyone can look on the food network site and find it, eventually, lol.

The bread and tomato salad I would eat, but hubby would turn up his nose, he doesn't like tomatoes....ate a worm in one as a child and can't stand the taste/texture now, but italian food is his favorite, just no big chunks of tomato, lol. If anyone tries this recipe before me, please, post your opinion. I won't be making it until the middle of September... :(

Don't you mean the mushrooms looked Yum-O!

It sounds good, though! Why won't you be making them until Sept?
I tried this recipe a few weeks ago. It was pretty good. I altered it a little bit, but it was still a little bland...I have some more alteration ideas for next time. I will probably add a little more parmesan and seasonings. Maybe some mozzerella to make it more gooey :D
I watch her with the sound muted. I usually like her recipes but she's too loud for me. And stop with the hand flinging!!!!
I agree on adding more cheese to make it more gooey, I thought about that as she was making it. Hubby will be home in September, so I am waiting for him before trying it. Stuffed mushrooms and spinach and artichoke dip are his two favorite appetizers. He told me to go ahead and make some for myself and my son, but I want to wait and make it part of his special welcome home dinner. Hope September hurrys up!! All this talk about mushrooms and pizza is killing me!
I might even sautee some italian sausage and onions and add it to the mix...would make for a filling dinner 8)
ooh, I bet the It sausage would be nice, but would it overpower the artichoke?

That's a lot of basil to put in a salad. Probably yummy though.

I'll let you know about the sausage...I'm trying it tonight :D
We expect a full report. I printed the recipe and will try it soon.
Okay, has anyone tried it yet? The suspense is killing me........
It was good with the italian sausage and extra cheese....some people might think the sausage was too much, but I liked it.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............................me hungry...
