Happy birthday, Drezzie!!
  Wow!!
She's such a trooper.  When we had her right hip operated on 3 years ago, I would have NEVER believed we'd still have her with us 3 years later. Her eyes have not clouded, her appetite is as good (if not better!) than ever (reference recent posts  ). Her hearing has diminished a bit, her bark has become a bit coarser, and her gait has slowed down somewhat, but other than that, no one believes she's 14 years old. Especially the cats, who she still insists on trying to chase when she sees them outside!
Unfortunately, we can't give her any special food treats. The least little deviation from her standard food almost immediately gives her diarrhea. She'll just have to settle for extra lovin'!!  |
