I love QVC but only the cooking part

| I always get QVC and HSN mixed up. I turned them on, periodically, to pass the time. I have ordered only a couple things. I ordered crab cakes once, and they were very good .I also order a set of Wolfgang Puck's pots and pans, and am a bit disappointed  with them. However, not disappointed enough to send them back.Once I ordered an outfit and was totally disappointed  , returned it, and had no problems with the return.I think they are both very reputable companies to do business with. |

| I used to order the Ultra--something pots and pans on HSN. I love them but the handles are just one point attachment and with the twisiting of the heavy pan when washing and rinsing, the handles come loose. I keep a screw driver handy but fear I've probably stripped the screws by now. So I quit buying the pans. Still love them for cooking.
Yes, I watch the kitchen stuff but have quit ordering. My kitchen is packed, no room for anything else.......since I can't get down to the lower sheves, especially the far back anymore. Took me days to find my Greek coffee pot....LOL.......it was back there somewhere. |
| I watch QVC quite often and order periodically. Firday night I watched Nick Arrojo's hair care show and ordered some products. I've ordered clothing (including a faux sable coat which I adore) and jewelry and some home cleaning products and make-up. I've never had a problem with the quality but that's me. I've returned things (like a sweater that was the wrong size) with no problem. My sister orders from both QVC AND HSN. A lot. If she doesn't like soemthing, it goes back. No questions asked from the companies.
My sister said the crab cakes are excellent, but by he time you add in the shipping, very expensive! |
| Years ago I ordered the Old English Sheepdog sweater from one of the companies, still love it and get many compliments.
Jewelry is OK but then I also buy from eBay so I can't really complain. My absolute favorite purchase from one of the two was a steam cleaner with an iron attachment. EuroPro. I don't use it for steam cleaning as it really takes the distilled water for that, but for ironing, WOW! Yes, shipping is a kicker. I figure what I spend on gas to get into town plus the hassle of shopping, not my favorite activity. I have backed off some items because of excessive shipping. |
