| I misread the map -- it's closer to 6 1/2 miles, those big blocks look small from the satellite pics. She's actually about 56 blocks away. |

Ron, I think your friend lives more toward Camelback mountain right? This park is on the north east corner of indian school and central ave. all of the streets east of central are streets and west of central are avenues....i was told that indian school was closed all the way east to 16 st, which is about 5 miles or so away...which means that getting home could be harder than easier and that God forbid, there may be debris in my yard |

| When I read what part of town this tragedy occured, I immediately wondered how close to Indian School you are........figured from your hints on where you live it had to be your part of town.
What a shame........all for being the "first on the scene" and "live shots" baloney. |
| All four people onboard the 2 helicopters died. One pilot had a habit of flying with his Westie, but had left her home. Such a terrible and senseless tragedy. There were 5 news helicopters and a police helicopter in the air just to track a stolen truck. The pilots can't see above/below them, so one got directly underneath another one and that caused the accident. Everyone in the news community here is devasted as its a pretty tight knit group. |
