What a day!

My friend's husband is having surgery in Seattle, so I get to watch her crew of 3 girls (2, 5, 9), plus my crew (2&4 legged). She is getting the cutest shih tzu on the 31st that I get to pick up at the airport. I'm very excited that I get to see the puppy first! She's happy b/c she has never really had a dog and wants me to puppypad train him! They get back around the 6-8th of August, so I will be on cloud 9 when the puppy is here.

Remind me later on that I don't want 4 kids. Even with their van, it's a pain to get everyone in the car. Her girls seem to take forever to get ready too!!! I love my little BOY ;)

Boy do you have your hands full. Good luck
It is nice to see a freindship like that with you freind.
What a good friend you are!!!!!!!!!!! Will you pad train MY next puppy
WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your a great friend and I'm wishing you lots of luck with the 2 and 4 legged ones
Wow, that's a lot at one time, god luck!
You sound like me when it comes to having more kids other than your own. I only have one daughter and when we go on vacation we take all my neices and nephews with us. We end up with 5 kids!
You are obviously a true friend! Remember to treat yourself to something decadent after all returns to normal. And get lots of puppy snuggles!!!
You are a brave woman!
I kept a good friend of my daughter during the week for 2 months. the friendship between the girls and the parents was never the same. Too much time together, I guess.
WOW 8O J you are SUPERWOMAN. :D
What a handful! Wishing you lots of luck!!!!!
Why do we girls talk so much??? When I do callouts to all the ladies on my list (to give them updates on their husbands, etc), I end up on the phone with each of them for about or well over an hour. Since I have many girls to call, it's not ME doing the talking (and I'm quite the talker). Anyway, but at least they talk about things I can relate to or find interesting.

Back to why I'm posting...

the girls I watch talk, talk, talk... As I type this, one of them is going on and on about how many stuffed animals she has and how many her friends have. I keep TRYING to pay attn but find myself zoning out. It's amazing how long they can go on about something. I swear it never ends.

Or... two of them will start talking at once. Neither will give in, but they're hoping I'm listening to both of them.

I told their mom, and she always tells me "image living with them 24-7."

They're the most behaved girls I've seen in years. The little house on the prairie type. They're going to turn into mini devils after spending time with me. So, I really shouldn't complain, but I'm used to my quiet boy. :P
Mrs. J, have you been watching the new series "Army Wives"???? Every time I watch it I think about you!!!! I always think of you as the Catherine Bell character, her husband is an officer and she is always helping everyone.

I WISH I DID!!!!!!!! My friends talk about it all the time. I don't have lifetime. I swear I have the worst cable service, but am too lazy to change since we just have a year left.

I have only heard about 1 episode, and it was at a military function/ball. An enlisted girl spilled something on her dress so goes into the bathroom to clean it. Meanwhile there are two higher ranking wives in there chatting and watch her TAKE her dress off completely to wash it. (something like that is what I told) ...........made my laugh my head off b/c "I" have done that number.

It was our first military ball (we were dating then). I had my MOM tape my chest up. I kept telling her tighter, tighter, but she just wasn't good at it. Well while at dinner, the goods dropped in between the tape. Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I leaned over and told Mr. J I had to go to the bathroom. He wouldn't let me go until I showed him what I meant. He was rolling on the floor laughing. I went into the bathroom and there were were... a group of girls ALL taping and adjusting their chest in the bathroom. Was funny.
Um...why were you (and others) taping your chests? Is that a military thing? 8O

Jo--you ARE crazy. I can't believe you take on all these things! Good for you though, and it'll be good practice since you're gonna have a GIRL!
Why do I have the feeling that with you in charge, Mrs. J., they won't actually become very devilish at all. ;)
And I was thinking it could be a new type of Survivor show - more realistic!

Positive thoughts still going your way.
I say good for you! You must be a popular person as you're always helping people out and I'm sure they appreciate it.

Mr J is a lucky guy to have such a special lady! I'm sure he know it however. You try not to work too hard and give us an update when it's all over.
