No Reservations

My dad is in town = seeing every movie under the sun.

We saw sneak preview for "No Reservations" tonight starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Abigail Breslin & Aaron Eckhart. Very cute little romance. Typical Hollywood formula, but the acting was good and the chemistry was nice. Worth checking out.

Oh, I really want to see that movie. I just love those typical Hollywood romances, and Catherine Zeta-Jones is such a good actress!
I look forward to seeing this. I like falling for "the guy" in this sort of romance.

I was sort of turned off by hearing to prepare for a scene where he (main actor) gets hurt, he put a clothespin on his "stuff" so he could really show pain. I just thought, What?? That's insane.

:lmt: I don't recall seeing any scene where anyone got hurt (at least not physically...)
Hmm... wonder what scene it was! I know that's exactly what was said, and he was there for the movie. I am not 100% but PRETTY certain I saw the interview on Regis. I just kept thinking, I don't think any big actor in a big movie that I've seen (that actually HAS action in it) does something that ridiculous.
Jo, I think the mother of that actor (whoever he was) needs to show him how to properly do the laundry again.
I just googled his name and clothespin, and I guess he was also promoting his next film called Bill. He does indeed use the clothespin "there" so he can simulate really being in pain there. What a goon.
That was in his other movie, no this one.

It was Ok. There was some really touching poingant real moments. And some really good romantic comedy scences. Catherine just didn't seem to be real, like she just couldn't quite pull it all together. For someone who is such a control freak then as soon as this guy and kid enters her life she does a 180...not really realistic.

Good news is, during the previews their was one for a movie called August Rush. Keri Russell, that boy from a movie a coupe a years ago. He played that tap dancer in engalnd where his dad wanted him to be a boxer. And the guy from The TUdors something Rhys Meyers.
--- OMG loooks like it is gonna go down as my all time favorite moive. It basically is about two musicans, Rhys Meyer plays guitar, and KEri the cello and they fall in love and she gets pregnant. Her parents somehow make her give the baby up and it is the little boy. The parents split and i think the movie is about them playing their music as a way to heal and get each other back....sigh you should have seen the preview i am not doing it the justice it deserves.

I saw this along with two other people and we all loved it! The little girl is the one from Little Miss Sunshine and she is hysterical. If you like good chick flicks thumbs up.
