Hi Everyone

I have a 3 year old brindel sheep dog name maggie. She's a sweet dog who is a little diva. She's awesome with kids but she doesn't like strangers. She has her weird corks about her. She likes to eat rocks, mulch and grass. I know that none of the 3 are good for her system, but if you try to take away a rock or get her out of the mulch, she goes a little crazy. She hates for me to give her a bath, but she loves to get them at the groomers. She's very high maintance, as far as attention goes. She demands it all the time. Her first year of her life was a hard strugle. She bit and bit and clawed and bit some more. It was so hard to love her when she did that. But she's grown up and is a great addition to my family.

Hello and welcome to the forum. You will get lots of us who have had some of the things you discribed in the othe post. Is she a rescue? I have had 3 rescues and 2 were from very bad homes. Sometimes it takes lots of love and attention. Our first Oes took my husband 2 yrs to turn her around. Our second only took months and when we found out she was partly deaf and made the changes she responded right away. Our 3 was a puppy with a bad heart but a sweetheart. We lost her at 6 1/2 month. We still have our second and a new puppy and another rescue( not OES) he is almost 11 and a great dog. give us some info on your OES and how you got her.
Again welcome!!!!

Welcome!

Sheepies like people have their own personalities. Maybe you could start a little gentle socialization to get her accustomed to people more.
