I threw out a whole pan of brownies

Why, you ask, would I throw out a pan of hot from the oven brownies?!? Because Lucy the brat got them first!!!

The brownies were cooling on the stove, and I was at the other end of the house reading my daughter a story when I thought I heard something. I looked around and Lucy was not accounted for which of course means trouble. I walk into the kitchen and she's standing there looking innocent....more trouble. I look around thinking she must have gotten into something but nothing looks out of place. Just as I'm about to dismiss the whole thing as a figment of my imagination I spot the brownies..still in the exact same spot on the stove but with the entire hot and gooey top nibbled off!! 8O

So, I guess now I have a sick dog to look forward to rather than a brownie!

I hope your doggie doesn't get sick!!!

I've dropped 2 batches of blueberry muffins that my husband had been dying to take to work, so I totally know the feeling.

Hope you plan on making some more!!

Right when I saw the title, I knew I'd be in for making a batch of my own. I've been craving brownies for DAYSSSS but too lazy to make them. Mmmm... I never liked them a lot, but it's all I can think about.
I would've ate them anyway. It's survival of the fittest around here!
I love brownies, lucy has good taste.

Still need to make an original batch from scratch not a packet mix. Does anyone have an original mix there?

YUM CHOCOLATE :twitch:

Hope all is OK with Lucy and no dreaded sloppy you know what happening. 8O
Lucy, Lucy. Lucy... what are you thinking!
Although at our house it would be maggie, maggie, maggie. Todd's coonhound knows no boundaries - she was a chained out, abused girl. And, coonhounds climb like their toes are human hands - it actually is amazing! 8O
Lucky Lucy to get the brownies all to herself! Hope the aftermath isn't too bad!

Daisy did something similar when my girls were small. I had made a batch of 18 chocolate chip buns for them to take to a sale at school. Left them to cool on the counter in the kitchen. I went upstairs for something and my daughter shouted up - 'Mum, where are the cakes?' Daisy had eaten every single one - complete with paper bun cases!
It makes me laugh that the whole lot weren't eaten and just the tops lol Daisy had the right idea, eat them all !! I ditto Butterscot, I'd still have eaten them lol

Me, too. Or I'll take a bite of a sandwich, give them a bite, then me again. They're not slobberers so it's not messy or disgusting.

Holly, they actually did the "dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's" on Mythbusters. It turned out, the dog's mouth has a lot less bacteria in it than a human's. They wouldn't call it cleaner, per say, but I'd consider fewer bacteria enough for me to share ice cream. ;)
Momo loves doing that... why do dogs like chocolate so much? My husband bought me some chocolates when we were dating and I was living at my mom's house. One of my brothers let Mo into my bedroom... and she ate about 1 lb worth of chocolate. >_< She never got sick much to my amazement! Doesn't it have to be dark or bakers chocolate to have any severe effects on them?

Hehe - Butters! That's what I do. Eat it anyway. XP If I tossed something everytime my cats or dog did something aggrivating with my food I would never eat.
No milk chocolate is bad too. But it is weight based and for the size of most sheepies it takes an AWFUL lot to actually cause a problem. I remember a couple years ago Tasker ate like 3 bags of valentine candy, we rushed to the Vet who made him vomit but it was more an issue of the WRAPPERS (which he ate) than the candy.
I must have brilliant dogs - I swear Momo can actually get a candy out of a wrapper! I left three of those chocolate Reisen (sp?) things on my coffee table and forgot about them. My husband took us out to eat and when we got back... the wrappers were there but the chocolate weren't hehe. I knew she didn't eat paper cups that some of the more expensive stuff was in - but this was the first time she got something out of a wrapper.

We also had a weenie dog who was good at getting the foils off of hershy kisses.... O_o
Not Tasker, last time he got into DOug's peanutbutter cups he ate them wrapper and all. In fact when he "eliminated" them they came out wrapper and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that's a visual.
I told Doug we could rinse 'em off and put them back in the candy dish
poor brownies....believe it or not, I would have eaten them too...just dusted the top with some powdered sugar.....what you cant see, cant hurt you 8O
made me think of Fergie. I just had made 2 different kinds of quoches ( spelling)and let them there to cool. Shortly after I heard a clunk in the kitchen and went to look. Fergie had got one to fall on the floor and she ate the whole thing. :? she never got sick but I learned to put up everything.
