Perfect afternoon ...
 So put the dogs in the car and headed off for the fields, it was just lovely, Ollie and Jack running around in the long grass playing, sun on my face ... bliss. Got home and thought oh better do the cleaning, then thought better of it, got the sun lounger out and fell asleep in the garden, woke up and looked about, there was Ollie sprawled out in the shade sleeping and Jack was under my lounger curled up asleep, and there was just total silence and not a cloud in the sky ... I just smiled at my boys, gave that nice sigh when everything seems right wiht the world. I did nod back off to sleep and kinda woke up thinking it was raining... oh no, Ollie had woke up and had a drink and was hovering over my face, when I looked up at him thats when the slobbering sheepie kisses started - what a perfect afteroon  |

Kayla: That does sound like the "perfect" afternoon. I know you will treasure it. It gives you something to day dream about while you are at work tomorrow.

| It was the perfect afternoon!!!! How peaceful it must have been for you and in our busy lives it's nice to be able to experience and appreciate that "Pefect Afternoon" occasionally. I'm very jealous too but lived it through you..so thanks for the posting!

I'm really looking forward to getting a sheepie so I have a good excuse to walk in the countryside (gotta find some good places) it sounds like you made a good choice leaving the cleaning for later
I would give anything for even half an hour of quiet. We are living in a very loud area at the moment. Have another afternoon like that for me! |
