Arby's Toasty Subs

or whatever they're called. Oh my gosh................ they're dreamy. Sooo good. Have tried them all now. ...the philly, the club, and the turkey one are equally delish.

I didn't like Arby's, but these subs are off the chart good! Definitely comparable to a quiznos-type sub. Even pricey like them ;)

I'll check them out!
I don't go there often, but when I do I get the chicken salad sandwich. Very yummy!
I've heard that they have more fat and calories than burgers and other arby's sandwiches...just saying, if someone wanted one because they thought they were getting a better choice than a burger...
I think there's a reason Quiznos keeps their nutrition virtually impossible to find as well. You're not in chat much, but I'm not someone who has been counting calories since I got pg. My mouth is always full.

You can tell just by the size and the picture that it's fattening esp. when comparing to their sandwiches!!!

:oink:
I always feel so bad when I say negative things about fatty foods! Like I'm spoiling it for people! ha ha.
I just know that when Arby's first came out with their Market Fresh sandwiches I was excited, because I don't eat fried food or red meat, so it makes me a pain to eat out at fast food places with...so I thought these would be a great new option for me...Until I looked at the nutrional info! It was like eat 2 Big Macs or something in calories and fat!

Well, you're lucky to have that excuse of being PG! Unfortunately I still eat for one... :?
I'm not supposed to eat red meat due to a bad kidney, but I can't resist some of these cravings!!! Normally, I AM a lot like you. My husband orders his burger, and I order a salad. The southwest and asian ones at McDonalds are sooo good!
hmmm, i should try one.....my feeling is everything is good...just in moderation and depending on what it is...an extra half hour of cardio........

steph, does it gross you out to go out to dinner with people who eat meat??? or do you just not want to eat it yourself???

Oh, no, not at all! I don't eat meat because of any sort of ethical reason--I just do because I feel that it's healthier. I stopped eating red meat in 8th grade and just have never gone back. I'll cook Cam steak or sometimes if we're in a really nice restaurant have a bite of his filet or something. Although when I was younger, like in high school and stuff, I couldn't have any sort of 'meat juice' touch my food. Like if my dad was bbq'ing a chicken breast for me and hamburgers for the rest of the family, I wouldn't let him use the same plate because the juice might touch mine...

Plus, it bothers me when people try to force their lifestyle on you. If you are a vegetarian or vegan because of animal rights or whatever reason, I think it's fine to tell people your reason, but then leave it at that--nothing worse than someone trying to force you to agree with their position.

And I'm definitely a 'moderation' girl. I feel like people should be able to eat all kinds of things, but not gorge on them. When I say I don't eat fried foods, I sometimes do, but it really has to be worth it. To me, anything from a fast food restaurant isn't 'worth it' to me (except Wendy's frosty and Jack in the Box fries).
and.....what about a good in n out burger?????????? A double double with cheese and onions....yummmm....to me THAT is worth it! :D
Well, they hadn't gotten In n Out in San Diego by the time I stopped eating meat--it came afterwards, so I've never had one! Just the grilled cheeses. And it doesn't seem worth it to try one and find one more unhealthy thing in my life to eat!

And meat doesn't really interest me. I'm fine with a bite of the steak, but I couldn't imagine eating a whole one...just doesn't do it for me.
Today I'm craving The Original at Schlotzsky's. Mmmmmm.... only sammie I like there outside of their pizzas!
How about a hot pastrami from Katz's Deli in New York? (The place where Harry Met Sally)

At least a pound and a half of pastrami with a smear of deli mustard.

Better than a filet or an In 'N Out... :D

Sorry folks, but my mind went sideways on this topic. :?
lol...my mom and bob stopped in NYC on the way to london....they had lunch at Maxeys....i have a picture of my mom eating the corned beef sandwich...its huge...and more amazing, she finished 3/4 of it 8O

it had to have at least 1lb of meat on it.........
