Greetings from Ireland

hi guys

Just a quick note to introduce Paris

Paris is 1.5 years old, she was rescued in Ireland in April. Its a bit of a sad story but with a very nice outcome.

Paris was found in the city , she was rescued from the train tracks by an incredible Irish family - Karen Rice and her mother. They saved her from a sorry end .
Paris was trying to get some chips out of a chip bag on the tracks and despite the train drivers beeping she was not moving . Karen and her mother were at the traffic lights and Karen made a dash to get Paris off the tracks . Right place at the right time for one luckly little sheep dog.

Karen and her mother take in alot of strays and rehome them and they took Paris home with them. She was starved - you could fit your hand around her stomach, she has fleas, mites, both eyes infected and was very badly matted. Once home they began clipping and a lovely little girl emerged from under all the dirt. A little girl with the most lovely temperament.

They tried to find her parents, but no one came for her. She was put up for adoption and came to live with a doggy mad little family living in the Irish country side.A new addition to the family consisting of Robbie, Lorraine, Mojo ( the greyhound) and Ruddock ( the greyhound).

It has not taken Paris long to get full reign of the house- she has taken over one of the couches in the sitting room for her night time bed, she has her morning bed in my office , and the rest of the time she can be found paned out on the floor in various rooms..... on her back most of the time snoring.
She has also learned quickly that all she need do is bat her brown eyes at us and it guarantees her anything she wants..... biscuits, some of your dinner or a few chips if they're spare.

Paris is a welcome addition to the family, I work from home so its great to have her to talk to ( when she's awake- she's not a morning person !! ). She loves her walks and playing fetch( although yu have to keep it interesting otherwise she gets bored and wont bother ).

This story could have had such a very different outcome , and like many other lost or unwanted pets they do meet with a sorry end. Paris was one of the lucky ones and we plan to erase any memories of a winter spent on the cold wet streets of Ireland.
