New to Boston - Looking for Vet
My 5 year old OES and I are moving to the Cambridge/Somerville, MA area this week. Alice needs her annual rabies shot and my current vet is all booked up- so I'm looking for recommendations! I would also love to meet other OES's and their owners. I have already discovered that there is an OES who frequents the small park (Lincoln) that is just down the block. Best nick&alice |

The park that you refer to, is in in the Town of Lincoln, or is that the name of the park? If it's the Town of Lincoln, then you're talking about headquarters for New England Old English Sheepdog Rescue, Inc. The vet that NEOESR uses most is in Natick -- Natick-Wellesley Vet Clinic... and they see lots of sheepies in a given year. Not a bad place to go. If you're in Cambridge/Somerville, it's not so easy to get to, though it's not too far off of the Mass Pike, Exit 13 (I think). Tell Dr. Katuna (if you get to see him, he's the owner as well as head Vet) that Joan and Ron sent ya. We haven't seen him since January. |
