Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Anyone go to see the movie on the first day like me? :) Any thoughts? I got to see it at the IMAX and the last part of the movie (once they all got back to the Ministry of Magic and all the fun stuff began) was in 3D, which was incredible. Overall I thought it was good, wish more of the Order was actually in the movie, it seemed like they were on screen a total of 15 mins. but I left happy.

I'm so BUMMED!! I wanted to see it so badly today, but couldn't get to the theatre at all today....
I've been waiting forever for this movie to come out. I'm definitely seeing it over the weekend and can't wait....

I heard it was one of the "darkest" potter films. We'll see...
I saw it over the weekend. I liked it, but I liked it the least out of all the Harry Potter movies. I think if you hadn't read the books, you'd have a lot of questions at the end.

It made me laugh when Dumbledore called Voldemort "Tom." I know it's his name but it sounded pretty funny.

I also wish Voldemort had a nose. I find it very distracting.
We saw it last nite, too.

Great entertainment, but Don, who never read the book, found it quite confusing as there is so much in it and not enough time to expand on the background of things etc.

I found that Harry has really grown up. I was not used to seeing him with muscles...

I thought it was quite dark and dreary, so a bit less enjoyable than the others...less "magical" in that sense, but still a good movie.

I think a younger audience would find it harder to follow than the others.
Loved it! I think with this movie, as with the last, you
really miss out if you haven't read the books. There is
just no way to cram the whole book into a movie.
I thought it was much darker, as it should have been,
and I think it captured the general feeling of the book
very well.
I will have to see it again while it's still in the theaters.
I know I missed things, it was hard not to be distracted.

Just a few more days till the new book, can't wait to see
how this all plays out.

The best adaptation of the books so far.
Wish there was more on it, but then we'll have a 10 hour movie

There's a gazillon clues on what will happen on the last book and the intention of characters.

Anybody expecting the book as much as Danita and I are?
I saw the movie, finally, on Sunday!!! It was great..... :D
Saul, there's a thread titled "Snape: Good or bad" that is discussing the last book and how gacked we are for it. Join in please!
That's an awesome thread!

I've added my two cents.
I saw it at last! It really is amazing, I love it when I find myself with my jaw dropped to the floor halfway through, the effects were great.
Harry 8O how much has he grown!!!
Great line-up of actors. They made London look really nice haha.

Harry Potter, the books and the way they have done the films, is of the few things that make me proud to be British.
