The Guilty sheepie !!!!

I was upstairs on my PC (Reading the Forum of course :D ) when I realized .........
:lmt: HUM... it is way to quiet down stairs.
As every sheepie owner knows that can only mean one thing ...
"What did you do?" 8O would be my next sentence coming out of my mouth.

Well, I had my camera handy so here it goes:

1st: 100 year old chair given to me by a dear friend.
Image

2nd: 100 year old chair gone!
Image

3rd: 100 year old 'horse hair 'that stuffed the 100 year old chair all
over the floor.
Image

4th: 100 year old chair in new location with big HOLE in it.
Image

5th: the guilty party !

Ohhh nooooooooo!!!!!
What Moma??? Who me???????
Well how can I be mad when Junior just told me
" I am only 23 weeks old Ma and could not tell the difference between horse hair and a sheep" :?

He said he was just doing his job and trying to find that sheep/(horse) in the house. 8O

Antoinette
I'm SOO sorry that happened b/c I'm sure those chairs were special

............but I cannot help but laugh at that last picture of those "I swear I'm innocent faces."
Now really. Isn't it possible that you are jumping to conclusions?

It is certainly possible that some stray dog got into the house, dragged the chair around and put the big hole in it while your dogs were trying to get it away from him.

And they finally did! See how proud they look at saving it for you?

You have a great attitude! That looks like pretty serious damage. Your sheepies are adorable. Choosing new upholstery is fun!
Horsehair is never comfortable to sit on. They were just trying to help remove the horsehair for you.

You guys are right. It is much funnier when it happens in someone else's house with their sheepie.

See this lovely antique chair that Eggbert is napping in? Know why it has a quilt covering the seat?....There IS no seat left anymore  Thanks to Bert! 8O

Oh well...I always wanted to reupholster it and its mate, anyway.

By the way...your dining room is LOVELY! :D
I love the last picture. There's no guilt in that face. Junior's pretty darn pleased with himself!
:o How can you accuss those inocent puppies of such a horride dead? It is ovious that it was done by a marading gang of vandals.
OMG 8O

Awww who could be mad with that sweet angelic face.

Naughty naughty lil man but so darn cute. 8)
Ooohh Maannn!!! I know that feeling when it gets "really quiet" around the house.....

That's what I was thinking!!

Sorry for the loss of your chair. You really are taking this quite well! I'm feeling like a very mean mom in comparison. I sent Lucy to her kennel tonight because I had just filled the water bowl and was in the process of putting it back on the floor when along comes a big head sheepie behind me who decides to bump the bowl with her big ol snout. Water flies EVERYWHERE! All over the both of us, the wall, the floor...everywhere. It was a three towel clean up!
Oh, my they did destroy that chair. The double innocent looks are priceless.

Laurel - My eye keeps going to the hilarious salmon on the top of that chair!
You are much calmer than I would have been! I agree with the others regarding the lack of a guilty face!
I would not have been happy about this incident. A punishment would have ensued and I certainly would not have been able to hold a camera to photograph the incident. You are a much bigger person than I.

Your home looks beautiful though, inspite of the chair destruction.
Hmmm..... maybe Antoinette WANTED the chair to be recovered........
maybe that is why she isnt upset :sidestep:

Seriously, I would FLIPPED if that happened here.....hmmmm maybe that is why we have a house where the dining room has doors

By the way you have a beautiful house Antoinette.
:twitch: OMG
Ohhhhhhh Nooooooo!!! I'm sure I would've had that little sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I saw the chair was missing. It's that moment before you actually see the damage when you know it's coming, but still want to hold out hope, that gets you. Then you just sigh and say to youself, Oh well...it's a small price to pay for loving sheepdogs.

Hope you can repair it. :?

There is definitley no guilt on those sheepie faces. :D
And I thought shoe chewing was the ultimate sin!
Oh, imagine how good those chairs smelled........horsehair and all those butts over the years! I hope you are talented and can recover them yourself...........ouch!

Your diningroom is indeed lovely, even with the recent activity and your house immaculate! Congratulations!

s.
OK ,Ok I have to admit the Yelling "OMG WHAT DID YOU DO??????? BAD DOGS!!!!!!
was about 10 minutes before I decided to calm down and take the pictures...lol
(plus my husband was out side building a deck in the yard and came in to tell me it sounded like I lost my mind  !!!!)

This morning they are acting like little angels. :plead:
I would not give them any attention last night and kept saying "Mommy's mad at you" . I think that was the worst form of punishment............They looked soooo sad that I felt bad.( then I thought of my chair..lol)

Well, at least my friend who gave me the chair is not coming for a visit for a while....

P.S... Thanks for the complements on the room everyone.
Laurel, I love that chair (even with the blanket .I guess mine will be wearing a little blanket for a while ...lol)

Antoinette

OMG! 8O Sorry about your chair, but it could have been worse.
Luckily it was only the upholstry.
Wow--that's a big bite taken out of the chair! 8O
WOW 8O
Chair eating sheepie!!!!!
Holy Cow! 8O 8O

I would have been screaming mad~

You are a better person than I am- I don't think I could have been calm enough to make pictures~

now I have to tell you that I have laughed and laughed at the pictures and responses

Have you accounted for all of the stuffing, by the way, or will you be watching to see how everything, ummm, ends up?
Yes Ron, It is all there..

After the Harley emergency last week that is the first thing I thought of , but normal poops last night and today .

The Vet told me a little test to do since the Harley incident :
when they eat something and you want to make sure everything is moving smoothly through the system give them a few small bite size carrots. When you see them in the Poop (and trust me you do 8O ) you know everything went through.....

There are many carrots this morning in the yard...YUCK! (now to keep the rabbits away..

Antoinette
That is too cute. Sorry to see the damage though.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your antique chairs, but judging by the look on their faces I just have to say NOT GUILTY!!! I think it was a neighborhood mad dog gone wild and your sheepies protected what they could :D THey just look to innocent to do something like that8)
