Lost Dog / Happy ending

I was walking Maggie around our old neighborhood yesterday. It is just a few blocks away but is not in our usual loop anymore. I was kind of hoping to see Cisco, the sweet dog across the street that Chummie had a big crush on.

Instead, I was sick to my stomach when I saw signs for Lost Dog answers to Cisco. There is so much wildlife here as well as other dangers (a fast running creek, traffic, etc.). I was so worried.

Thinking I needed to do something, I contacted the owner and the humane society and shared some pictures I had of Cisco in the hopes that would aid in his identification if someone found him. It did! Someone brought him to the shelter and since the staff had seen his pictures, they knew exactly who he was and contacted his grateful, happy family right away. I am so happy that Cisco is home! :phew:

Wow, that is lucky! :D

I remember you mentioning Cisco from previous posts. Good job Val! I bet his family is relieved to have him safe and back home.
WOW.. so glad there was a happy ending..
Quick thinking, Val! 8)

Another good reason to always have current pictures of your furkids (as if we needed an excuse  ).
The pictures just helped get him home a bit sooner than he might have been otherwise. I just wanted to do something for him. I am so happy that someone found him, turned him in, and that he wasn't hurt. Apparently, he crossed a very busy road. The family is looking into finding a more secure fence for their yard.
WooHOO, LOST DOG FOUND!!!
wow, what random luck!
Wow, Val! Way to go! You saved Cisco!

(and this is a good story to illistrate why we got Oliver microchipped)
I LOVE a story with a happy ending!

Well, I didn't actually find him but I am really glad he got home sooner than he would have. And I am really glad he is home safe. He is such a sweet dog.

Amazing! :cheer:

Just goes to show the difference one can make if they take a few moments to help!
