Latest Oprah Books

Did anyone read "THE ROAD" or "MIDDLESEX"?
If so what did you think?
Also, what books are ya'all reading or have read that you recommend?
I have been doing lots of reading lately. Keeps my mind from wandering.

Hey, Sue! I'm currently on approximately page 100 of Middlesex and think it's fantastic thus far. A friend highly recommended it and said it was much more than a "history" book. This is my kind of reading! It has a little bit of everything and the writer is very easy to understand, flows well...
Man would I love Oprah's paycheck each month.

Just once.
I just finished "the Secret History of the Pink Carnation" and it's sequel "The Masque of the Black Tulip". I'm not sure if it is on Oprah's list. I don't really check that. But they're fabulous books, with a little bit of something for everyone- romance, mystery, comedy, action, history. Swashbuckling heroes wearing masks :hearts: How can you turn that down??? I really, really enjoyed both books, and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to read something fun with a little brains behind it. There's a third one out in hardcover now, that I've got to try to get my hands on.

I've been reading a ton lately, but most of it has been fantasy, which I know not everyone gets into. And pretty much everything new I've read I've stole... I mean BORROWED from my sister.
I'm deeply engrossed in "Critical Care for the EMT", engrossed but don't know that I would recommend it
