Do you do anything special/traditional for the day? Not really, usually just a bbq or go to my parents and hang out by the pool, sometimes a bonfire and then fireworks later on. It was way too cold to swim, but I did go and watch the fireworks for a few minutes... It's only about 9 celcius (46 f) here this morning... Brrrr.... cold for a July morning. |

Lol Jil that was a good one! Reminds me of how we only have one birthday and all the rest are anniversaries.

Well we Canadians love wearing our beaver hats, carrying our hockey sticks and riding our moose in search of grizzlies, while chugging beer, ( Molson Canadian of course!) and yelling....  Ehhhhhhhh!

Ours would be in a possum hat, carrying a digeridoo, riding a Kangaroo in search of a tasmanian devil, yelling "Bewdy Mate". With the beer of course.  |
