So...Panda bit me for the first time today.
However it was a good thing!!! You see, I woke my son early this morning to tell him I would be away most of the day and asked if he had a house key. (He is forever losing his key.) My son at 9 am is not that coherant and mumbles something about not sure if he still has a key.
I'll run out and get one made before I leave for the day and will slip it through the cat door I tell him. I return and do just that as the van was running in the driveway. I hear a roar much like a lion on the other side of the door and then owwwww a bite on my finger..not enough to break skin but enough to hurt. Sheesh the cats go through that door all day and Panda never reacts.. it was much different when a hand reached in.
Good boy Panda!!!!...that'll teach some would be burgler..except it was me. LOL
The silly thing was I later realized, I could have unlocked the door with the spare key, put it down and then left again. Ha!

Just proves the point I made on another thread, any dog can be aggressive in the right situation.....doesn't mean they are "bad".

 LOL , It was funny! Despite my wounded finger I had to chuckle and was actually proud of Panda.

| I was reading your post, Marianne, while talking to Todd on his work break. I read what happened to you with the key and the cat door. He laughed and said your son is safe - you have a good watchdog! |

Yup! That's my Panda boy!!!
Besides scaring the living daylights out of me and a hurt finger ..
The best thing about the situation was he bit but immediately let go, (I also withdrew my hand with lightening speed) and he didn't break the skin! That's a really good thing as even tho I wasn't a would be burgler a real one would probably then try to sue me for trying to break in and as a result have been injured. 
Finger only throbbed for 1/2 hr!
