average amount to feed
But anyway, I know I was feeding him too much so I'm trying to cut him down a bit so I was wondering how much you feed. |

| Our vet had said Lucy needed to gain about 15 pounds (she was about 55 lbs) and suggested that we give her 2 1/2 to 3 cups a day. I'm assuming once we reach her goal weight we'll cut back just a little.
I know we can bring the dogs into our vet at anytime to use the scales. Just a thought if you're curious... |

| Clyde eats 4 cups a day. Sometimes he doesn't finish every morsel by the end of the day, other times he does. In the winter, that may be too much but in the spring and summer when he's more active, it's good. |
