Sonograms & X-Rays

After reading, and crying, over the story of George, I just wanted to add this bit of info in case anyone is unaware...X-rays do not always show a foreign blockage in stomach. Plastic, fabric, nylons - certain things do not always show up. A sonogram may be helpful in these instances. Of course the best course of treatment for George was the exploratory where they found the mulch and fabric...

Just to keep in mind to ask about whether a sonogram might be helpful in locating what is wrong. They are expensive but covered under many insurances.
