Introducing Ruby

I do not have pictures up of Ruby yet and hopefully I will have some soon of Max and Ruby. I really wanted to get her cleaned up and nursed back to good health before I put her picture up her. As some might know I did not acquire Ruby in the best of conditions. She was under fed, hair falling out, dandruff, lazy, and had yellow clumpy hair. She is much better now and has really gained buckets of energy. Max loves for her to chase her and they are becoming great friends. I will try to put some pictures up as soon as possible.

Look forward to seeing pictures and well done on Ruby too, she sounds like she is in the prefect home, glad to hear she is bouncing back. :D
Can't wait to see a yellow sheepdog  I'm sure with your good care she will rebound completely.
Can't wait to see pics of your wee one. And Ruby is a great name! Don't we have a Pearl on board? They are all "'gems!"
Pictures, pictures!!! (even if she is still yellow) :)
Hi Ruby!!!!

I love her name!!! Pictures Plse!!!!!!!!!! :excited:
I have put some pictures up of Ruby...she is still pretty yellow even after about 3 baths by me and a bath at a groomers. But the hair underneath is coming in bright white so that is a good thing.

Also, she doesn't have the black around her eyes like Max...Max didn't at first either but it eventually turned black, kinda like black eye liner I guess. Is this common?
Yes, you can't tell whether it will stay white or turn black. I'll let you know in a couple of years. :D
Ruby is a doll! I can't even tell that she's yellow.
She is adorable :hearts:

As long as she isn't smelly or greasy I say the yellow hardly matters. It'll grow out. From the pics it looks like Ruby and Max are getting along great :high5:
Well those picutres are after about 3 baths by me and one by a groomer...she was worse before but now she is slowly starting to look better. At first her hair was clumpy and greasy...made you not want to touch her even though she would look at you with those sad little eyes...you know the look I am talking about. But now she is realy starting to clean up and one day she will be white again.

If I use a whitening shampoo will it hurt the black hair...obviously it wouldn't matter on her since she is already brownish...but in the future, does the white shampoo fade the dark out?
Aww, she's adorable! Congrats!
I would only use the whitening shampoo on her white parts, regular shampoo on her black. The whitening shampoo will not do anything to the black if you get it on there, so no worries.
Ruby is beautiful. Congradulations on adopting her.
