Now that we have a few more people checking in, what do we think about the weekend of August 4? It seems like that fits in with what everyone suggested. What does everyone think? Let's hope for cooler weather this year though!

Well if we have it at Laurie's place again, she's in Livonia-- about 15 minutes out of Detroit. As far as when, we'll start working that out soon as soon as we have consensus on the date. I believe we started a bit later in the day for anyone who was traveling. |

| If we have it at Laurie's in Livonia, absolutely. Do a google search and you should get quite a few hits. Actually anything in the metro area shouldn't be more than 15 minutes away for the most part. |

| I guess it depends on what you consider close. It's about 70 miles, so about an hour away maybe a little more because it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those cities up that way that don't really have good freeway access so you have to take surface roads there. |

Laurie has graciously offered the use of her yard again, which will be great. She has a nice little screened in room to keep the dogs out of the human food.
So now we have a date and a place. Any suggestions as to what time? |
That looks like a good date for us....We would come down with our trailer and camp somewhere, probably for Saturday nite...so around 2 or so would be good for us. Give us time to get down and set up our trailer before coming over..
Any nice campgrounds, close by, that can be recommended?
But if that is too late , then go with whatever is good. I was just throwing that out there...  |

| August 4 is our wedding anniversary. Count us in. My husband says it sounds like fun. Carley will be almost 6 months old then. Just let me know what I can do to help. |
Right now I'm coming! I'll drive up Friday and spend Friday and Saturday nights so I don't care when the party starts.

Cool! Things are coming along nicely! Could anyone who's interested in coming send me their e-mail address so I can create a group and start sending out announcements that way. It sounds like we have a few extra people who are not forum members so it'll be easier to include everyone that way.
