Litter reunions, a good idea?

Was talking to my rescue coordinator last night about our soon to be and I asked about where his litter mates will be living. Is it a good idea to try to keep in touch with these owners if I can get their info? I guess with a mix breed there may be some unusual (hopefully not) quirks that we may want to find out if the others have. Also, is getting the dogs together with it's brothers and sisters a good idea over time?

Not sure if any of them will be any where close to us or not.

It would be fun to see them as they grow and learn about their similarities. If they are willing to give you that information - why not keep in touch with them.

We have some "reunions" at the NEOESR picnic - I don't know if you remember the 12 puppies born Christmas 2002 - well several of them reunite at the picnic - and it's great to see how different each one is. There was a write up about their differences in one of the Tales End.

We just had 6 puppies placed last month - all from the same litter - and I look forward to seeing several of them at next years picnic!

Maybe one will be close by enough where you could meet occassionally! I wish one of them was coming to me!
