Nuneaton Carneval tomorrow! (Sat)

Just want to let everyone know who lives close to Nuneaton, Birmingham (UK) that I will be at the Carneval and do a bellydance performance with our group starting first dance at ca 2.30pm but we will be there already from 12 onwards to get there right in time! Dont know the exact spot but I think it should be posted out somewhere!!

We would love to have a picnic but not sure about the weather yet uups! :? I do have a gazebo but it's very big (like 2 normal ones!) but it might keep us dry if we need to!

See ya tomorrow!
Big Sheepie hugs!! :ghug:

PS: you can bring your Sheepies, it's all happening outside in the grass!

Have a wonderful dance performance!

Are you dancing with a sword or cane? :D
We dance with candles and veils and zills!! (various each time!)

and thanks, we will enjoy it, hopefully the weather stays dry cause it's forcast rain for all weekend and it's already raining since 2 days!!
Hope the sun shines for you and have a great time dancing :D
I'll cross my fingers and send some Florida sunshine your way. Your performance sounds like a lot of fun. Have a good time!
Have a lovely day monika and the sun will shine. Hopefully lol... Look forward to the pictures...

hugs
Hope it stays sunny for you! Just as I wrote that it started to rain here, maybe you have better weather up there :D

Love & hugs to Charlie, will she be belly dancing too?? 8)
We had a sunny start on the day and where told it's forcast rain later, so we put our gazebo up. We started our 1. dance around 2pm and it was hot, then we had a break for over an hour and it started to dribble some rain so we where happy to be sheltered.

2nd dance and black clouds came out and we where really hoping not to get wet! We just finished our performance went into the gazebo and it came literally down in buckets in the same minute we walked in, incl. thunder and lightning for over an hour and our gazebo stood the heavy rain!! Lucky us, what an adventure! We used the time to have a picnic!!

We also had an live interview for bbc coventry/warwickshire (shame we couldnt tape it!) and they made pictures of us aswell which will be later on their website (bbc.co.uk/warwickshire). It's not on yet, I checked it but I will let you know or post the picture when it's on!

I loved the day!

I didnt had a camera but a friend taped it with a camcorder, the only picture I will get is the one from the bbc!

PS: Charlie loves to do bellydance with me! it just looks a bit "different!" lol
Oh so glad you had a good time Monika and the weather held for you look forward to seeing the bbc pitures
I did checked the bbc website but unfortunalety they didnt posted the picture of us on their website  but I have loads of dances still to come (like on saturday with a tribal group! in Sheffield) now every weekend and I will post a picture of us here next time!
