Happy Birthday Abbey, I miss you so much

Abbey's birthday is tomorrow, June 15. She would have been 14. My heart is still broken

Abbey

I miss you soo much....

I wish you were here tomorrow, so I could "take you out for dinner" for your birthday like we always did (dog cookies and bottled water at the dog park).

I look forward to the day when we can be together again at the Rainbow bridge...Until then, I hope all the other OES and other dogs there celebrate your birthday with you and give you lots of hugs and kisses...

I love you and please know that you are still with me in my heart, every day

I think that my Jake and your Abbey are having a hamburger together to celebrate her birthday. From Wendy's ;)

For dessert, I bet they'll trot off together to the water fountain for a cookie and a drink.
:( Hugs for you :ghug:
I think Jake...Abby and my Roxy...and all the other Sheepies are enjoying something sweet for Abby's birthday. Roxy got her nickname "Sweets"...because she LOVED anything sweet. She could hear a cookie package being opened a mile away. Happy Birthday Abby!!!!

You never stop thinking about them, they impact on our lives so much while they were with us and leave such wonderful memories that stay with us forever.

Happy Birthday Abbey may your spirit be running free and young always.

I just had to respond to your post since it touched my heart, and since my very first sheepie was named Abbey. In her short life of 5 years, she was always with me and made it impossible for me to even think of having another breed of dog.

I think it is wonderful that you take the occasion of your Abbey's birthday to remember her, and the way her spirit will never leave your heart. Sometimes the tears that we shed for our little ones who are waiting at the Rainbow Bridge cleanse us. I hope this for you, and that your tears have turned to smiles and laughter of all the wonderful times you had with your girl.
 My heart is with you and Abbey ! She will celebrate her 14.th birthday running round with all the other Sheepies at the Rainbow Bridge like Ellie, Tucker, Baby Squish and all the other lovely Sheepies. I'm sure they all will have a birthday cake later after they had a play!!

Thank you everyone...Your comments mean a lot to me...I'm so glad to have this forum to be able to reach out to people who understand :)
This is so sad I hope she's playing with my old oes Barkley. It will be 11 years for her in September. My heart goes out to you
I can't believe that my Nigel is gone 15 years this August!
His sweet nature will live in my heart always!
My Pip had a too short life, he was 3 1/2 when he passed (from a reaction to a lyme shot). His sense of humor lives in my heart too!
My Only Owen (the underwear hater :) ) his fierce loyalty lives on in me too!

Happy birthday to your Abbey!

I know my gang & yours is romping at the RB waiting for their uprights!
I think Abbey had a party with all the sheepies she's met, and I know my Daisy and Beau were there. Time does help but the heartache never really goes away :ghug:
