It can take a little while to get a quality OES from a reputable breeder, especially if you want one from a local breeder. Have you checked with OESCA's Breeder Referral list available on their website? |
| The breeder's list is an excellent way to get fast information - but I agree, definitely call instead of e-mailing. If there are any shows in your area you could check those out, too to get contact names! |
| I went through the OESCA breeder list. After emailing everyone I got responses. No one had a pup at the time, but one breeder recommended me to her friend in Canada. Since I had seen the last breeder's dog at Westminster Kennel Club show, I figured I was on the right track. You want to try for breeder's who actively show...they may cost a little more, but you will be dealing with someone who knows and screens her dogs for any problems the breed has.
I have 5 weeks left to go for my puppy, and I started looking in March. You may have some luck in this forum...seems it's puppy season now. I hope you find one soon!!  |

I was going to say the same thing too, make contact verbally over the phone with breeders rather then e-mail.  |
| We just got our puppy last weekend. Depending on what area you are in, I believe she might still have some available, and she is a very responsible breeder. If you want more info, you can pm me. The pups are 9 weeks old at this time.

You'll find a couple of forum members with Catherine's dogs. Including one member who showed one of her dogs at Westminster this year! |

We have a couple of dogs bred by Capricorn and we think they are great. |
| We had a very unfortunate experience with Capricorn kennels. I would strongly recommend not getting a pup from her at this time. I know others have had good experiences with her, so I am going to leave it at that. Feel free to PM me if you want more information.
We recently got our puppy from a reliable breeder who I believe is having pups soon or already has them. Let me know if you would like her information. We couldn't ask for a sweeter, more adorable puppy. |
