Gas
Mater has the worst gas the last day or so and I need HELP! OMG he was sleeping next to me last night and actually woke me up a few times cause the smell was so bad! Aside from sticking an air freshner up his butt is there anything I can do? |

| Did he eat anything unusual or a very rich treat? If not, maybe try slowly rotating him to a different brand or flavor of food. I find that condition really varies depending on diet. |
| My sheepies cannot tolerate any food with soy in it.......the gas could lift a blimp. If this continues, try moving to a new food, as Valerie said, slowly.
Jack's gas now is due to the banana he and my husband share in the morining. |
| My sami had bad gas I finally found prescription diet T/D food from the vets big bites she loves it no gas and much easier to clean up not a stinking 15lbs bag $37 and 25lbs $55. And its is suppose to be real good for their teeth. I found Iams was ok but hard to get in my town if they run out at the store 2 hours away from other towns. |
When Yuki had bad gas, it was from me changing her food to something not so agreeable with her. I hope you find the source b/c I know how bad it can be.  |
| Yah know, I threw some food from the rescue into the bottom of the food container and emptied the container yesterday so I bet that was the culprit. He's been fine on the Beniful (sp?) except for the occasional toot.
You guys have the best advice! |
You can use charcoal dog bikkies or tablets when they are like that, it neutralisers the gas and the SMELL  |
