How do you feed omega 3 fish oil capsules to your dog?

We have been giving our boy Omega 3 oil; we've been breaking open the capsule and putting it on his food.

He loves it! He licks our fingers!

How do you do it?

I would do it the same way, I do the same for probiotics capsules.
For Tucker's antibiotics he has gotten too smart about it being hidden in anything, so I just have to pop them down his throat and hold his mouth til he swallows.
I just stick it in there food, mine are piggys and don't come up for air till every morsel is devoured. So any tablets, capsules, medication that might be needed, they do not notice in there meals, it all goes down in a gulp.
We used to just put the whole Flax Seed oil capsule in their food and they would just gobble it up but we recently switched to Cod Oil since the Flax Seed oil was missing something. The boys love the Cod Oil but Rebecca hates it so I guess I'm going to have to buy both of the Flax & the Cod!
We put the whole thing in his food. He gets the fish oil as well as vitamin E and will even eat them plain as treats!
Murphy just eats his whole.. He thinks everything is a treat ..........he gets so excited when he see it...

Izzie's the same way...if we make her sit for something she assumes it must be something worth sitting for
okay, I feel like this is probably a question I should know the answer to ...but I don't

Why are you giving your dogs fish oil?

It's an excellent source of omegas, great for skin and coat and tons of other things...

We just usually put any pills right in with Barns food. It's weird though, because he'll totally eat around it, so I'm thinking, great, I'm going to have to try something else, but then he'll eat it last! I wonder if he's saves the best for last or the worst? 8O

If for some reason that doesn't work, I stick in a banana slice or a slice of cheese.
I usually put stuff directly in Pandas food..but she usually noses around picks it up and spits it out to the side...so when it comes to meds that i want her to take ..ie benadryl, i have to put it way back in her mouth, hold and wait till she swallows...

when she sees me in the bathroom getting a benadryl, she hangs her head in dread  poor girl!
The fish oil and glucosamine chondroitin both get put right in the food. They eat them right up!
I have a Maltese who cannot eat the large softgel fish oil pill so I have been putting the oil on his food/treats but the smell keeps him from getting near it!!

Any suggestions? Does anyone know if/where fish oil is available in solid pills that can be chopped up?
I would think putting an oil into a solid form would require baking with a dough and the heat would destroy the oil's benefits.

Will your guys eat tuna or other fish. Maybe mixing the oil in with a dab of fish, mushing it around to make a paste and then smearing on the food or bowl would help it go down. All mine take great delight in licking the bowls after eating.

Lately I've been finding MO's Pepcid AC beside her bowl. I'm playing games with her on what I can offer her with the pill encased so she won't suspect she's getting doped. This morning peanutbutter worked, tomorrow I'll have to come up with something else.
Every night I take fish oil capsules. Tiggy velcro girl would sit and watch so one night I just offered her one.
Oooooh, people food!! Yum, yum, yum. Chew, chew, chomp. Fish! Tasty.
I dont need to break them or buy it in the bottle anymore. I just hand both dogs their capsule and they chew them up happily because its people food.
