dutch sheepdog
i get nearly all the way there i think (i'm lost at this point) the the gps says keep going and my son throws up all over the car just great so i turn round go home and clean him up and leave him with nanna and off i go again i get there and for a place in the same small town as me i sure took ages to get there i must have gone te long way round the receptionist says what sort of dog is he ? conversation follows: me: hes an old english sheep dog her: thats not in the system me: but it a registered AKC breed Her: we just don't have it me: oh you know the shaggy dog movies dog / dulux paints her: does it look like anything else? me: er a bearded collie her : not got that either me : well i don't know she calls the superviser superviser: oh well dutch sheepdog will do that close to england isn't it? me : whatever here $10 for the tag i leave well have any of you had this problem or is it just the stupid english lady here with the dutch sheepdog zoe and einy |

| Hi Zoe! Glad you, your family and Einy made it safely to the states. Sorry for the stupid lady at animal control. It's not you, it's them. I think you're going to get a lot of questions about Einy since obviously sheepies are a "rare breed" where you are. Consider it an opportunity to educate people! |
| Lol. Maybe it would have been easier to ask what they did have in the system! You'd think AKC breeds would be on there. I've never even seen a Dutch sheepdog in person. But, at least it's close looking, even though the colors are reversed.

My sister lives in Vero Beach and I have to have GPS to visit her. The roads are crazy down there - and the islands don't help. Next time take Einy with you. That will make all of the difference. |
