Last weekend was beautiful. Tony and I and the dogs spent most of it outside gardening. The dogs were into everything, and having a ball.

Last night Keira's tummy seemed upset. She barely ate dinner (Pirate finished it for her), and she then threw up.

She ate some breakfast, but not a lot. She did, however, eat her milk bones.

At lunch, she threw up again.

I think she probably ate something bad in the yard. If she had diarreha, I'd know what to do, but I'm not sure what to do to settle her stomach.

We had a big ball game yesterday and she kept up really well. Today she seems a little slow but not really out and out sick.

Any suggestions?
Yeah, no food or water for 24 hours is the standard vet advice to let the tummy settle after vomiting. As long as it isn't bloody or looks like tar and her stool isn't black.

Of course if you're worried, call the vet!
It looks like her kibble! Nothing funking about it. Her food just isn't making its way through her tummy factory.

I'll give her another 24 hours and see if she improves.

Thanks
Did she eat much grass?

Both Tasker and Ty have taken to eating grass when we go out and invariable they vomit. I have to keep after them to not do it.
I'm thinking that is what it is. Will it just settle down on its own?
Well, I don't know. I always "heard" that dogs ate grass if they had an uset stomach. Mine just eat it to eat it. I have to watch them when we are outside to keep them from munching like cows. So when we go out I am always shooing them away from the grass (keeps me busy).
Is she pooping? Last year Merlin was vomiting for a few days and not doing much pooping....we took him to the vet.....they did ultrasounds...he had some sort of blockage.....they kept him over night and next morning he did a massive poop.... Shocked a $400 massive poop Shocked
She has been pooping. Not as much as usual, but I figured, because she isn't eating as much.

Oh yea...they are nice, firm and healthy.

(We really do love these pups!)
