Bree had her third bath today, she has enough coat now that more careful grooming is needed and she is very good about laying fairly still on the table.
I had never trimmed her paw pads or bum before though, so when I did that today she wasn't crazy about it LOL
I gave her a cookie to gnaw on while I trimmed her feet. To trim her bum I had to use the grooming arm and noose for the first time with her. She really didn't like that, but again, holding a cookie in front of her taught her that if she backs up she chokes, and if she stays standing and forward it doesn't choke and she gets to nibble on a cookie LOL I kept my arm behind her bum anyway of course to make sure she didn't choke herself...
Anyway, here she is all done  (and wanting to get down and have another cookie!)

LOL No the spa days are reserved for either before a show, or just when they need it...
Since I've only got one who is in full coat, my grooming is still all done in one day... takes about an hour to do Tucker (just brushing, not if I'm bathing anything) and then another hour or so to run a brush over everyone else and do ears and toes and check teeth. Bree has a decent amount of coat for a puppy, but it still doesn't take much to maintain it yet. |

Her first show will be August 12th |

She is about 38 lbs now, but my scales are always off by a bit....
Tucker is about 90 lbs now |
