Update on Simon(and I have a good friend)

Well Simon has a doggy cold(I think). That the best we could come up with. He's still not eating well..I'm sure he's losing MORE weight. You can tell he has an upper resp. thingy going. He keeps trying to clear his "nose?" He kinda huffs to clear his nose and sneezes. The cough is almost gone. I'm thinking maybe he can't taste his food and thats why he's not eating(maybe?). I'm just guessing here. The Vet called this morning to see how Simon was doing. He said to give it a couple WEEKS and maybe changing his food to get him to eat again. We are leaving for Las Vegas early Monday and I was worried that the boarding place we go would not take Simon if he was sick. Well...I called this morning and explained the situation and they won't take him. I understand but even the Vet said he should not be catchy anymore. Now What???(I beat my head against the wall a few times). Call my trust worthy neice and get voice mail. Hmmmm WAIT! Barkly's Mom, Doreen said since the dogs get along great, if we ever need to go anywhere she will be happy to take the dog. I call and explain and she said NO PROBLEM!!! She will even take Taylor. She is such a good friend and I love her soooo much. A six mo. old baby and three dogs. Whew, she is going to have her hands full. God Bless her and this is way tooooooo long.....Pam

I hope Simon is feeling better soon. And you guys have a great time in Las Vegas.

Simon and Barkley did get along great. Taylor is such a nice golden, so I bet they all have a blast together. They will have a super doggy vacation for sure!

Have fun Doreen and Chris with a full house. And hug that cute baby Dolan for me too!

That is wonderful that Doreen is able to watch your dogs. Simon and Taylor might have more fun than you. :wink:

Still hoping Simon has a speedy recovery. I enjoyed meeting Chris and Doreen at the picnic. Barkley was very calm so I know him, Simon and Taylor will have a great time together. Have fun in Vegas!
