We've been starting to buy Baby Bean things for the nursery. The pottery barn kids store by us waqs closing, so I picked up a gorgeous rug for 75% off. It's round, and blue with white stars. Perfect for the sleepy moon theme I'm going with for the decor. In addition, I found a perfetc little paper night light of a blue crescent moon with yellow stars. It couldn't have BEEN any more perfect for the nursery, which will be blue and yellow. In order to preserve both items from Pippin, I've stored the rug in my closet, and put the night light on top of the book case in the living room, where he couldn't reach it. i've been meaning to put it away in a dresser, but just hadn't gotten to it. BIG MISTAKE! I came downstairs this morning, and there, on the floor, is the remnant of Baby Bean's night light, box and paper covering shredded all over the floor. Mike must have knocked it down last night, and never picked it up afterwards. I'm not sure who to be madder at, Mike for not picking it up and putting it back in the safety zone, or Pip, for actually causing the damage! Here's a link to what he destroyed... Look at how cute it is! Waaaaahhhh!!!! |

That is a bummer. It WAS really cute. |
| That light was so cute.
Oh boy... |
| SIGH! POOR NIGHTLIGHT!!!! I guess I'll just add it to the growing list of things Pip has managed to destory- books, dvd covers, remotes, shoes, hats, socks... the list goes on and on. |
| It could have been worse.
You might have had two of them. |
| Ooooh - I would be livid, too. However, it does make a good story for later and hopefully he'll learn with something Pip can destroy instead of something baby can destroy . . . |
