Worcester MA

My corp HQ is in Auburn MA. Usually, I fly in work lots and fly out asap. I lived in the area for 12 years, but I left 9 years ago and haven't kept up on new places to dine.

My son is in Beverly training for a new job. He is meeting me in Worcester for dinner and I don't know where to go. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

What's your time frame, and how much time do you have?

What kind of food will you eat or do you prefer?
My husband's corporate office is in Worcester. His suggestions are:

Sole Proprietor (seafood) - 118 Highlight Street

Maxwell Silverman's (steak and general) - 25 Union Street

111 Chop House (steak) - 111 Shrewsbury Street

Via (Italian) - next to 111 Chop House

Flying Rhino (general) - Shrewsbury Street

Hope this helps. Enjoy!

The Sole Proprietor,
111 Chop House, and
VIA
are all owned by the same husband and wife, Madeleine and Robb Ahlquist .

The Sole Proprietor is located at 118 Highland street.
The VIA is located at 89 Shrewsbury St.
The 111 Chop house is at 111 Shrewbury St.
The Flying Rhino is at 278 Shrewsbury St
Maxwell Silverman's address is also Worcester Center Boulevard.

Joan likes the Sole Proprietor's reputation.
I'm in the area every 8-10 weeks so will keep the list handy. Thanks!

I knew you were in the Boston area, but not that close. Are you a good cook?
Not restaurant quality, sorry.

I do like to eat at nice restaurants and I consider myself something of a gourmand.* :D

As does Mulligan. Just in case you need a dirty slobbery sheepie fix between courses.
