Thanks for the good wishes. 
Happy Mother's Day to all! I unfortunately am working 12 hr nights all weekend, but I am sure I will get some Chewie kisses, as well as some from the rest too.
We are going to one of Todd's brother's this afternoon, and celebrating with my MIL and all my sister in laws! |

| My kid's gave me the flu for Mother's day (third year in a row) So I'm spending today sick in bed. Maybe I should stop telling them that I love everything that they give me

| Happy Mothers Day to everyone. This is the day to remember all of the good things about being a Mom like sticky hands on your work clothes in the morning, your child getting sick when you have tickets to some expensive event, the school calling because your child made the teacher cry and threaten to quit, coming home to a kitchen that was used by five 12 year olds making cookies for a bake sale, the handful of flowers brought to you which also happens to contain poison ivy which everyone in your house is VERY allergic to, and of course the plumbers bill because your 2 year old tried to see what they could make go down the toilet to make a tornado with the water. After all of that all it takes to make a wonderful Mothers Day is a toothy smile for the first time, a card with a little handprint on it to remind you how fast they grow, a 1st grader coming home and telling you they still love you best, a teenager wanting to spend time with you during a week end or your college age child calling not because they need money or laundry done but just because they miss you.
That is what it is all about! Have a Happy Mothers Day. Schoolmarm and her puppy who finally got a name Carley. |

Been there done that yesterday or today for you lot who are behind in the times.  Wonderful day with family, food and nice wine in Autumn sunshine in the Yarra Valley.
Have a great day on your special day and definately no housework or anything today, be pampered and a queen for the day, heck it is the only time of the year we can

| I hope every mother had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day, as I did. My son was home for the week-end, my daughter was home from college for the summer, and we had a terrific dinner out with a lot of lively conversation. To me, it was just perfect!!
Don't know if you are familiar with Mitch Albom. He wrote "Tuesdays with Morrie" and (I think this is the correct title) "The Five People You Will Meet in Heaven." He has a new book out now, "For One More Day." I read this newspaper column he wrote last Sunday (week before MD) and sent it to my kids. From the time my son outgrew me, I would lift up my head and point my finger at him saying, "You will ALWAYS look up to your mother!" Mitch has the same point of view.
