Nail Clipping- The Positive Way

I saw this on another forum I belong to. It is a great way to show a reward-based approach to teaching a dog to accept nail-clipping.

The whole demeaner of the trainer is calm, and no force is used.

That's a nice video. :D
Good training method for a difficult dog, but he didn't look difficult to begin with.
Cool video!
What a surprise! This is Laura, Nelson's trainer (and Angel's Mojo's trainer, too!) :D

Laura never uses negative reinforcement or force in any of her training.
Fabulous video! Loved the approach and reward system.
Thanks for sharing it :D
I take my crew to Petsmart for their nail trims. It's the only thing I refuse to do.
When we first got the pups, I would take them over there every two weeks for a "trim." The staff was wonderful and understood that the practice was to their benefit in the long run - unless they really needed a trim, they didn't charge. I always made sure to go at the end of the day, so they weren't busy. The fur kids love to go in for their nail trims - lots of attention and they even get treats!
Loved the video, Bella is a little shy with the nail trimming, I will try rewarding with the treats.
