I got Monty from KY after he was picked up off the streets. You have to wonder how they ended up with 3 stray OES down there. Poor guys...I wish I could take them all!! |
| This always makes me sad. Callie is from KY, and her "breeder" is really close to Bolwing Green, and he lives on a farm and lets his dogs run loose. I would not be at all surprised if these are his. They actually look a lot like Callie, especially Rudy and Carson with that really curly hair. Oh, I feel so bad, I wish I could go rescue all of them! And I wish that guy would at least get his dogs fixed! |

She was full of burrs and ticks and in generally poor condition. We had to shave her, but we are including a picture of her pre-shave so you can see her potential. I felt the same way, Lisa. "Tragic" just about describes it. I wish I was in the area so I could help... this sheepie-girl is in desperate need of some serious TLC.
Jeez... is the economy the reason we're seeing all of these homeless sheepies all of a sudden? It's almost scary the number we've been seeing/hearing about. |

Susan, a gentleman from Florence who used to do sheepdog rescue is adopting Molly. You may know him - he says he's worked with the people in Tennessee and New Hampshire. He has three dogs and lives in Florence, KY. His vet gives him a five star rating. We're very pleased she's going to a great home! Renee     |

I am from Louisville and just rec'd a badly neglected OES from southern Indiana - she was in horrible shape. 10 weeks later she is a new dog happy and content. I wish i could take the newest Kentucky dogs, but just do not have the room with the 2 i have now. Please keep us updated on all the KY dogs. |

I'm sure they didn't say who the owner was, but did they give you any clues about them... a breeder? a family? I'm just being curious, because I feel sure these are Callie's siblings / cousins... and I'll be very sad if he's still breeding.. |
