Paris Hilton in the Clink?

Paris Hilton sentenced to Jail time, will she end up being in Jail?

30 days to appeal, I wonder if Money & fame will get her off again.

She really could not be that dumb?, she did not know she was not allowed to drive after 2nd drink driving convictions. 8O Was suppose to do re-hab after the 2nd offence and did not even bother to go as ordered by the court as part of her getting off for a 2nd offence.

Wonders never cease do they with these celebs that think they can do what they like :P . If it was ordinary "average public" they would of been jailed maybe after the first offence, definately in jail for being caught a second time.

Soooooo will she end up in the Clink.??????? 8)

I saw on the news today, she was shopping with her mom over the weekend, and crying. She said she couldn't believe they would do this to her!

HUH??????????????????????????????????????????
Here's the part I don't understand - she can afford a chauffeur. If I had the money, I would have someone drive me around all the time, princess that I am :D But particularly if I were on probation for drunk driving. She has absolutely no excuse.
They are also reporting that her lawyer thought she was still allowed to drive...or something like that. Seriously?...did her lawyer honestly not understand the terms of her punishment for previous infractions? Maybe it is time to get a new lawyer too.

I'm with Sue...if I could afford it, a car and driver would be great :D
I simply HATE driving, so of course Id opt for the personal driver too.....

She is an adult. There is NO excuse for HER not to know the rules of her probation....come on Paris, take some responcibility for yourself....you big whinny sissy!
I just read something where she said it was her publicist...not her lawyer. She thought she could drive if it was work related. She has fired her publicist. Ummm...maybe don't ask your publicist for legal advice
Work related driving? What exactly does she do and how would drinking be work related? Anybody that skinny must surely be brain damaged.

Actually, Paris makes quite a bit of money 'appearing' at parties...like club openings and stuff pay her to attend and party, so that would be an instance where drinking would be work related (however the driving part should not be).

And she does have meetings and a business that she runs so she does need to drive to meetings and stuff for work.

I think it's a fair ruling...I mean, she got to pick the place she wanted to go. She's complaining that she's been treated unfairly because she's famous and that if she wasn't known to people then she wouldn't be watched and pulled over as much...which I think is true, but she shouldn't get away with this type of repeat offense.

I heard she didn't get to pick. That sometimes judges let them pick, but that this judge said no.

Even if she gets pulled over more because she is famous....too bad. Hasn't it been statistically shown that certain colors and kinds of cars get pulled over more? Do those people think that that is an excuse not to get in trouble....stereotyping? If you did the crime you need to do the time....regardless if the cops were drawn to you slightly more than the person behind you.
Yeah apparently they asked if they could buy out, which means you pay the extra cost to go to a nicer facility, and the judge told her no, that she could not do that.
It's too bad she didn't get that judge who said that blond bombshell pedophile was "too pretty" to go to jail   . I still can't believe they let her out of it. Although I don't think Paris is as pretty, she does deserve to be made an example of.

Go, Judge, go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just heard, she (and her fans) are petition Gov. Terminator to stay her sentence.

Are you KIDDING???????????????????????????
 We just heard that too, she has about 2000 signatures on an online petition already.

Also there is group petition going on line against her and making her serve her time in jail that is up to over 8000 signatures already. 8O

Wonder what govenor Arnie will do. :?

I hope he doesn't do a darn thing. This girl needs to learn money is not everything and that you need to pay for your mistakes.

He's not stupid, so I'm assuming he'll do nothing. Just because he's a celebrity doesn't mean he panders to them for everything. And actually, many celebrities don't care for him because he's a republican.
The Governor's office said that her petition would be handled just like every other petition to the Gov's office, and that he actually takes action in only a small percentage of cases. In other words, no politician is going to waste any time on a 2 time DUI offender. Her guilt is not in question. And ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Hey, I'm that Skinny and I'm not Brain Dead.
I would love to be her cellmate. Bet we would get extra pudding for desert.
On the news tonight, some photographers apparently got snapshots of Paris behind the wheel of her Bentley driving again even after the trial.

Talk about arrogance...
Gawd Unbelievable  Maybe hair extensions pulling on the scalp and too much peroxide has destroyed her brain cells.

Wonders never cease with this Bimbo. 8O
Have I mentioned that I do a Werner Klemperer* impression?

* Colonel Klink :D

I believe her license was reinstated in March....but I am not positive.
Well just heard her sentence has been cut in half to 26 days in the clink. Private cell to herself for her time as guest of the state.
I personally think because she is such a complainer and is causing the court system time and money that they should make her stay in the slammer for twice as long as the original and put her on chain gang work release during the day. I can't stand her - she drives me nuts. :twitch:
A perfect representative of our current "take no responsibility for my actions"society. Her next TV show, "Reality Sucks When Money Can't buy Your Way Out". Her co-host, Scooter Libby.
