KARMA... it's real
So I decided to run errands first and nap later. I went to the grocery store, it was REALLY REALLY busy. Picked up my items waited in the LONGEST line I've ever been in, paid and went to my car. When I got to my car I found a container of clorox wipes in the bottem of the cart, I had forgotten to take them out and had not paid for them. I almost always "do the right thing" my brain told me I should go back in the store and either return or pay for them. I was tired, grouchey, didn't want to face the long lines and hoards of shoppers. Sooooooooo, I am ashamed to admit I tossed them in the carjustifying it to myself that "groceries are over priced anyway" 
Went about a mile down the road to the craft shop, made my purchses and with much relief headed to the car to go home and sleep. HA! Karma gave me a good slap in the face. I got to the car and discovered that my automatic door opener wouldn't work, apparently the battery was dead. Not being "blonde" (remember the old joke??), I thought NO PROB, I'll use the key. Well I have never opened my door with the key and guess what............ IT DOESN't WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea why, whether it never worked, or if it has somehow gotten damaged and won't work but it would not open the stinkin door. The battery in the opener is a very odd size........ not available at any of the stores in the plaza I was in. So I walked a mile to the grocery store to find they did not have the battery EITHER. They suggested a car dealer down the road. So I walked another 3/4 of a mile to the dealer, bought the battery and WALKED BACK TO MY CAR. THe guy at the car dealer said he really "wished" he could drive me to my car but he was the only one there........ everyone else had gone to lunch. So now I'm home, groceries are unloaded and I need to take a NAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The canister of clorox wipes is set aside so Monday when I go to work I can stop at the grocery store and PAY FOR THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

What a nightmare!  Who knew some cloroxs wipes could cause so many problems.  |
