Yeah....

Most dogs don't even miss'em. Especially the females.

(Crossing my legs, hoping everything goes well.)
LOL.....
I'm sure he'll be fine.... you may want to put a few drops of rescue remedy on YOUR tongue however...lol

Not necessarily but, if you're nervous about meeting your future in-laws for the first time and you overdose on the stuff, it'll make your tongue go numb!

Thath wight!
LOL! You guys make me laugh....I needed it too after dropping of sleepy kids at school. They were in a bad mood this morning and I think it rubbed off on me. LOL Let us know how highpitch Jack's barks are when he gets back home. Stormi and co.
Stormi,

I'll keep Jack in my thoughts! I'm sure everything will go fine! I'm surprised to see that he's being neutered though - I thought you were planning on breeding! Just curious, what changed your mind??

Kristen
Hi Kristen,

Thanks for the warm thought, but they are for the wrong Jack...LOL :D
Ed's Jack is going in.
I am still planning on breeding...I actually have talked to a few more vets on getting hips tested and now another option called GCD, I think is out there so I am going to start researching that now. It is nice to have more options, but confusing on knowing which one is most conclusive in results and saftest. I guess only time will tell if Jack and Annabelle are cut out for being parents, if they are not, they still have my vote for best fur friends out there. LOL I will keep you posted in our decisions. Thanks, Stormi

Sorry! I guess I didn't read carefully enough! Well - my thoughts are with the other Jack too!

Kristen
Ed-
I hope little Jack will be fine. Tell us how he's doing. I don't have much experience or advice. Just give your boy lots of hugs :)
Hi Stormi, What is a GCD? Thank you
Sorry, I meant GDC....The institute for genetic disease control.....but it looks like they have merged with OFA now.

For anyone interested in the merge of GDC and OFA can go to the above link. I am guessing the only options left are choosing between OFA testing or pennhip. I still don't know which one yet. My mom's vet recommended going this GDC route, but if it hasn't been around for a bit, and he said he didn't know anything about Pennhip, except he believed it was less invasive on the dog........so it is back to more research. LOL
Stormi and co.
So, how is Jack doing after his neutering? :D Stormi and co.
Hi Ed, how old is Jack? I thought he was around 4 months. Isn't it early to ... ahhh, snip 'em off??
he's a little groggy still, throwing up on occasion, and just got over the diarrhea.

messy messy room ive got now....but he's feeling better. we tried a funnel collar to keep him off his new seam, no luck there, he didnt sleep at all, so we tied a sweatshirt around him in diaper fashion. he looks so funny plus now it says "psych ward" on his butt.

our vet suggested we do it at this age because my mom and i go back to school in 2 weeks, and now would be the best time as we can be with him 24/7 as opposed to her being out all day and me being in night school.

but yes he is 4 1/2 months.
I have been out of town. How did Jack do for his operation on the family jewels? Please tell all, inquiring minds want to know. Give him some ears rubs and a big smooch, from me and my family. Email me a new pic when you get a chance.Love the big guy up!
he wasn't himself for a bit and had the whole family a bit on edge. but as of today he wants to jump and be nutty as usual, its nice to see him acting up and being jack, but still we try to keep him from doing TOO much, don't want to have to wait longer to heal. the stitches are healing fast, much more so than expected, and he isn't minding it much (no licking) which is nice as i needn't fear the wrath of infection as long as he doesn't.
Glad to hear he is doing well and not missing 'em much.
It sounds like he is healing well, and will be his bouncy self soon, well bouncy if he is anything like my 2. LOL Stormi
All sounds good! Love his sweatshirt saying.Thank you for the update.
Ed I missed the Simpsons reference earlier or I would have been all over it! That's one of my favorite Ralphisms.

Glad to hear Jack is better!
