However, I'm concerned about the dogs ingesting garlic juice from the grass....isn't garlic toxic for dogs? ![]() |

Okay, so this is probably a dumb question but here goes... How can you have mosquitoes but not heartworms? That just doesn't seem fair! Who can I complain to about this? ![]() |
Different population of mosquitoes....possibly a different species...? I'm not totally sure....but I sure am GLAD!!! ![]() No snakes or (indigenous) poisonous spiders, either! ![]() |
Alaska is sounding pretty

![]() I looked it up...this is what I found.... http://www.entirelypets.com/toxicfoods.html "Onions and garlic contain the toxic ingredient thiosulphate. Onions are more of a danger....... While garlic also contains the toxic ingredient thiosulphate, it seems that garlic is less toxic and large amounts would need to be eaten to cause illness." I don't let the dogs on the grass for a day or 2 after we spray, for us that is easy to do since we have a dog run. But my dogs are not usually grass eaters. We used it last year and no ill effects on the dogs ![]() |
