I'm back! (Did you miss me?)

Phew....

The trip to Europe and back is now over...We were gone for 18 days and had a great time. Saw a ton of stuff (most of which I can't remember!) and survived each other for the trip, which I think is an even better feat!

We saw London in general (bus tour of the major sights), took a bus tour to Stonehenge and Bath, went to Scotland and took a bus tour of Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond (took a boat tour), didn't see any sea monsters, went to Paris, saw Paris by bus and boat, went to Versailles, which was more crowded than Disneyland in summer, saw Mt St Michel, drove through the countryside to Bordeaux, went to some wineries, drove to Nimes, then drove to Nice and saw Monaco, then sat on the beach. I think my favorite part of the trip was Scotland. LOVED IT!

Pictures will be coming when they get taken off the camera and put on the computer...

Hi,

Yes!!!! You were missed and welcome back!

I can't wait to see your photos and Scotland and Monaco are two places on the planet I've still yet to see...sigh perhaps some day. I can live vicariously through your photos however - can't wait to see them!

I refuse to miss someone who was out having the time of their life while we sat at home waiting for pics. Pfft. 8)

How did Barney do while mommy and daddy were away?
How fun! Did you do any museums? You could spend 18 days alone in Paris museums, I think. Don't you wish you had a month more to visit? It seems like there's so little time but so much to see!
Welcome back!! :)

I can't wait to see pics! Post tons please! :)
Welcome Back Steph.
Welcome back steph, photos yay post them soon.

Sounds like a fantastic trip and look forward to hearing of the grand adventure.

Awwww now back to the real world after being away and having a wonderful time, that is the worse part after a great holiday, back to reality.
Thanks guys!

It was a whirlwind trip. I didn't get to go to any museums or see anything, really, besides all the standard major things.

We had a 'free' day in Paris where we didn't have any tours planned, but it was a Tuesday and the Louvre happens to be closed on Tuesdays, so that was out.

Barney had some issues apparently while we were gone (see the Behavior section) but he's happy to be home!

We had perfect weather and it only rained one day, but we were driving all day, so it didn't really matter. Pictures will be coming probably this weekend.
Welcome home! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip.
Can't wait to see your pictures!
Of course we missed you! Can't wait to hear all about your amazing trip.
