I can do it Mom!

Every night Breena will sit in front of our fridge and bark for an ice cube. I then push the ice lever and magically an icer appears and I give it to Breena. Tonight was no different. Breena barked but I was washing dishes and told her to wait a moment and I would get her one. She didn't want to wait so she jumped up and put her paws in the water dispenser tray and waited for an icer to appear. Obviously nothing came out and I gave the command down ~ but she gave me the cutest look like its ok if your busy mom I can do it myself.

It is always good for Mama's to keep some secrets to themselves.
  Great trick you have taught her.
Oh no!!! My sheep Ollie loved ice cubes. He would be at the freezer the monment he heard the door open or when a beverage was poured.

Ollie was too short to reach the ice dispenser on the door, but our Pyr could hit the lever with his nose, no problem. Needless to say, if someone forgot to hit the dispenser lock, Doogie Bowser (Pyr) would dispense ice for Ollie on demand.

Ollie was better at training Doogie than I was. :?
Please don't teach my dog that. She wouldn't leave the kitchen except to play and chase each ice cube that she dispensed.

Great trick!
I guess Simon's not the only one that likes ice cubes. Every morning before I go to work I take a few icecubes to put in my coffee so its not so hot.(Not good to be drinking HOT coffee and driving) Simon is right there for his ice cube. Sometimes he chases it around for a few but most times its crunch crunch and its gone. Once it got stuck on his beard and it took a few moments to figure out what happened to it.
She's so smart.
Thats it, I'm making ice cubes tonight with Ollie lol !!!
What a good and smart girl.....just hopefullly you wont come home one day to no ice in the freezer and tons of melting icecubes on the kitchen floor!
What a smart girl!
AWwww I loved the story and tried to visualize that cute sheepie look she must have given you.

Marianne and the boys
That's a dangerous age when they really want something, isn't it? Clyde figured out how to turn the faucet on my himself when he wanted water after we took it up in the evening when he was young. It's amazing the stuff they figure out.
It is a hard age. Its not like a toddler you can keep in a playpen. ( well we had a puppy playpen but Breena figured out if she stacked all of her blankets and stuffies in the corner she could use them as a step and jump out) that was the 3rd night we got her. I am hoping she doesn't figure out the faucet thing she already jumps on the sink when I am washing my hair to see what is going on. Thats all I need an ice rink and flooded kitchen. Breena would never be so courtious to turn the water off. :D
That sounds really cute..... :)
