Cantaloupe Good For Them?

I cut one up tonight and London loves it. Is it good for them?

I had a cat that was know for his love of cantaloupe. He would injure any one who stood in hie way. He never had any adverse effects from it.
Cantalopes have very high vit C content as most orange fruit and veggies do and can be good for dogs and people. My boys prefer watermelon.

Only thing to watch out for is cut out the rind in cantalopes as often they have mold on them. I'm unaware if this would be harmful to them in small doses however but always better to be on the safe side.

Mine love apples (seeds always removed as they are poisonous,) and other fresh veggies, like carrots especially.

Breena loves tangerines and lettuce. I figure its a better treat than most things. Especially her new found love of the french fry. She stuck her head in a bag once and pulled one out. It has been love ever since.
I have not been able to find mellon of any kind on any
lists of foods dogs shouldn't have.
I hope it's ok, because mine LOVE mellon of any sort.
It's a great treat in the summer if you cut it up and freeze
it. Tucker doesn't like ice cubes much, so it's mellon for
him. He really begs for it, however he isn't fond at all of
the seeds in watermellon. Those he spits out, he's picky.

My guys love mellons!!! You should see them when ever we cut one up!!! I have given it to my dogs for years, just when we get one ,mostly in the summer(Wynette you probably have a longer season than us!!) I guess it is OK my dogs are still around :D Mine also get an occ. grape. I used to let them have a bit more ,years ago, then I learned they are bad for dogs!! My yellow lab used to steal a grape everytime we opened the fridge. It was like a game. (Yeah we are pretty nuts here) Watermellon seems to be a favorite here. My dogs love fruit but my black lab will not eat bananna. He will take it sometimes but spit's it out!!!
Bear and Clyde both like it but have to pick it up and spit it out twice before they decide that they like it each time I give it to them.
