Fatty Fatty Fat Pants

We just got back from the vet for yearly shots and checkups.

Lucy is a perfect 55 pounds.

Bear is a perfect 125 pounds.

Clyde is a big fatty at, gulp, 105 pounds. The vet says we need to get back down to between 95 and 99 again so Clyde's gonna be cutting back on the snacks. I'll also have to keep a good eye on him because he is a snack stealer and if one of the other two even look the other way while eating a snack, Clyde swoops in like a bird of prey and steals them. Usually I just give the victim another treat and let Tubby keep the stolen treat. No more. Back to the carrots, Chubs!

Holly, I believe this is karma for all the Daisy fat jokes.

It is so hard to put one on a diet. It is bad for them to be over weight, but they so cuddly. So I wish you luck, and the strength to do this.
Sam is giving a high five to Clyde! They can go on the weight watchers diet together.
I just get a kick out of the title for this thread
nothin like a ''robust'' sheepie......carrots....now that sounds yummy

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I feel compelled to speak up on Clyde's behalf. It is hard enough to be on a diet but to have to endure taunting on top of it! Starting with the thread title, Fatty Fatty Fat Pants and then to refer to him as The Big Fatty, Tubby and Chubs all in one paragraph! I cannot believe his insensitive mother. 8O

Oh I forgot we are talking about Jill  ..........well never mind then.

Sorry Clyde, we all have our crosses to bear. Try not to think about it and enjoy the rabbit food.

Oh and I could help you find a good lawyer if you want to sue Mommy Dearest for overfeeding you!

He STEALS! He did it last night once after the post (I had to get Bear's treat back from him twice) and then this morning, he stole a treat from Lucy. he was running through the house with 2 Milkbones in his mouth. And I have to call him names. I'm practicing tough love. :)

To be honest, I think he's perfect the way he is. I like him squishy but it's his health I'm worried about so I guess we''ll have to heed the vet's advice!
Tasker steals too. I feed Ty up on th ebed because nothing is safe. Tasker has now figured out how to climb the steps (Ty's steps) up to the bed and get the food. He's SNEAKY and knows not to do it when anyone is looking. He has also figured out how to squeeze himself into Ty's crate to get at any food there

I would love to see that!

I will let it go this time, Jill.

I was afraid I was going to have to call in the Reverend Al SHEEPTON to speak up for Clyde's sheepie rights!
Well, I certainly have plenty of opportunities to get a picture

Awww...poor Clyde...having to join the dieters is not much fun. He thinks the vet is wrong - there's just more of him to love. :hearts:
Clyde would like you guys to lighten up, it's no fun being the (large) butt of fat jokes
I have a feeling the diet has been jump started because I just transitioned them to Canidae and Clyde absolutely hates it! He's been picking for the last few days and giving me dirty looks. bear is eating a bit more of it but it's pretty clear he doesn't like it either. I'm kind of torn if I should continue feeding it to speed up the weight loss, lol.
