| I am so sorry to hear your B is not making progress yet. . . Have you been back to the neurologist to test her responsiveness and nerve function? While feeding quality food is good for dogs, I don't think that is going to solve your dog's problems. Chumley spent a month in a rehabilitation facility where she trained with experts 5 days a week. She also had a variety of post-surgical medications. When was your dog's surgery and what medications was/is she on? I would encourage you to get either a neurologist or a professional physical therapist to examine her. I would also encourage you not to delay with that because the longer she is not walking, the harder it may be for her to regain functioning. Did you call Carrie for a referral to a therapist in your area? |
